Emily Lukaweski

Emily is an associate in the St. John’s office of Cox & Palmer. She was admitted to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 2013 after having completed her Juris Doctor at Dalhousie University, including a diploma in international business law through Queen’s University’s UK campus. She has an interest and appreciation for a variety of disciplines which includes many arts related matters. Emily practices mainly in the area of corporate and commercial, intellectual property (IP), and immigration. She spent a period of time as a volunteer for the Artist’s Legal Information Society in Halifax (ALIS), Nova Scotia, where she assisting with IP publications and liaising with community members. Her time with ALIS helped form an organization that would grow into an essential legal tool for various artists, musicians, and other organizations.
