Katie Butler Major, from St. John’s, graduated from Memorial University in 2008 with a degree in English (specialization in Drama) and a diploma in Performance and Communications Media. She has worked for numerous not-for-profit organizations such as the St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival, Rabbittown Theatre Company, the New World Theatre Project and VANL-CARFAC. Katie is also an actor. Past credits include: Wit (SWFT), 5 New Very Short Plays in the Sand (newfoundlandartistx), Love You Forever and More Stories by Robert Munsch; and Closer (c2c theatre). She is currently the Communications and Marketing Officer at Resource Centre for the Arts.
