Terrance Hounsell has been a visual artist for more than 40 years covering multiple aspects of 19th, 20th, and 21st century photography. As an educator has taught and demonstrated photographic techniques both Traditional Analogue and Digital for more than 30 years during which time he has maintained a working darkroom and studio. Has been a member of the Visual Artists of Newfoundland and Labrador (VANL) for 20 years. His works are in the NL Provincial Art Bank and he has won the NL Arts and Letters Competition several times. He has exhibited at several commercial galleries and is currently affiliated with the Red Ochre Gallery.
