Craig Joseph is a multi disciplinary visual artist who works in traditional mediums including drawing, photography, and encaustic painting. He completed his BFA at Memorial University of NL in Corner Brook, and Harlow, UK in 2008. Since that time he has been committed to working personally and professionally towards the advancement of the arts in Atlantic Canada. He spent three years with the Craft Council of Newfoundland and Labrador, and another two with the Nova Scotia Centre for Craft and Design in administrative and gallery roles. In 2009, he worked along side Hillary Winter and Jillian Waite in the creation of the Pick Me Up Artists’ Collective for young emerging artists in the Atlantic region. Craig also works as a professional personal and commercial photographer. As well, he has taught encaustic painting at the Nova Scotia Centre for Craft and Design in Halifax.
